All I'm getting is ads and no pets. I have three in the lineup, and I'm using the free version, because why on earth would I pay for it before I'm sure that it's doing what it's supposed to? Except that it's not. It doesn't provide any insight into how to make it work, so maybe it's just my POS phone that I always seem to get, even though an upgrade, that seems incompatible with these cool apps that I want to check out. Or maybe the app just sucks.

Ads right from the start of loading the app. You have to watch ads to unlock any character. And even the option to remove ads is broken.
