L’ App Mapa Continu de Trànsit del Servei Català de Trànsit permet consultar l'estat del trànsit en temps real incorporant les incidències viàries de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona, de la Dirección General de Tráfico en les zones limítrofes i del Govern d’Andorra. En el cas de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona i el Govern d’Andorra també es poden consultar les seves càmeres.
També permet la realització dels tràmits de trànsit com:
- Consulta dels meus expedients - Identificació de conductor/a - Pagament de sancions - Presentació d'al·legacions del procediment sancionador de trànsit
Els objectius són:
- Facilitar l'accés del ciutadà als serveis del SCT des un mitjà mòbil. - Mitjançant l'ús de codis QR permetre al ciutadà realitzar els seus tràmits relacionats amb els expedients sancionadors de trànsit. - Donar una visió mòbil del Mapa Continu de Trànsit - Contribuir a la millora de la seguretat viària i evitar distraccions. - Aprofitar l’impacte de les noves tecnologies a favor de la mobilitat segura.
Les principals funcionalitats del MCT son:
- Nivells de servei - Retencions - Trams d'obres - Trams amb cons - Consulta de càmeres - Consulta de panells de missatge variable - Nom de carreteres - Consulta de les restriccions del transport de mercaderies - Consulta de la xarxa d’itineraris de mercaderies perilloses, XIMP

Useless! You can't give access to your private folders because the app is not asking for the right permissions nor can you upload pictures because it is always complaining that the pictures are too big even though they are not. Same problems on the website. For being so proud and legally obliged to offer access to electronic services the catalan government should make sure that they actually work!
