World Around Me is a unique way to find useful places around you - such as restaurants, ATMs, shops, bus/metro stations and more. WAM uses your phone’s camera to give you a completely new way of exploring a place, anywhere in the world.
When you point the phone's camera in any direction, then you will see overlays of virtual signboards onto the camera view in that direction. Augmented Reality is thus used to enhance the view of your surroundings. This helps you navigate intuitively to places of your interest, using your phone’s camera.

This is actually an amazing app good to have when you're out and about, it shows places around you that you might not see visibly or didn't know was in the area restaurants, stores, banks etc.

Awesome app to have. Useful close to where I lived in AZ, TX, and vacationing in Hawaii.
★★★★☆Nemo· Mar 9, 2026
I had this app about 10 years ago and it was fabulous. Point at a place, and it would tell you where and what it was. Now it only seems to tell you where a bank, café, whatever is, which is great, but I like to point and be told what the hill, building, etc. is. is that possible?

Great, I like this app, very helpful us. Thank you

Used to be very good, but now it wants you to upgrade before giving any information, Euro 9.99 is far too expensive, especially when there are similarly good apps around, many free or at a reasonable cost, I understand the need to make money, but this price is far too high, so I am uninstalling, not the best way to go from 5 star to 1 star!
★☆☆☆☆Paul Brazier· Jan 10, 2023
If I could apply less than 1 star, I would. Add the ads but don't force an upgrade at Aud$15 for an app that I use perhaps once per year. OVERPRICED & MISSING THE OPTION TO CONTINUE WITH ADS. If an option to continue with ads is not provided next time I use this app I will be uninstalling it. Google works just as good and is totally free.

Why even have the free app option if you csnt even use it unless you upgrade to pro.
