Description
Why we need this app? One of the biggest changes of Android 11 is that all apps targeting 30 can only access its' private folder. In the future, all updated apps are subject to this restriction.
However, some apps do not give users a good experience. For example, some chat apps, save "files received from other users" to their private folder. In the future, private folders can only be accessed by the app itself, and other applications (including the file manager) and the file selector of the system cannot be accessed. This means that the user must open the app to open the file. This is very inconvenient and unreasonable. The correct approach is to save user files to a public folder (such as the "Download" folder).
At least those apps allow the user to open files with other apps. So we have a chance. This app does a very simple job, declares that it can open all types of files and copying the opened file to a public folder. From this, users can easily find these files.
How to use: Select this app in "open with" and the file will be copied to the "Download" folder. On Android 10 and lower, storage permission is required.
Note: This app does not have an interface, to uninstall, you may need to go to system settings.

This app adds the "save a copy” action to "open with" menus. When you open a file with this app ("save a copy"), a copy of the file will be copied to the "Download" folder.

Just Realize how much&how many ppl will need Your 2 Main apps so Focus on to Shikoku & app-opps equally if 1 is updated the next / other half must be too & plz give us a new app it should be a speed hack app but IDK if android could ever handle an app like cheat engine cuz windows has no limit & is an all powerful os Mac /Linux is too which especially Linux cuz Linux has a bunch of variants now chrome os is the main which is half Linux half Android or a browser that may or may not need Shikoku

Great, does what it says. Only gripe is the "copy" button 🔘 on ➡️ of each clip is small and often end up selecting the full clip to open (+ no "copy" 🔘 in opened clip), so it's "🔙" to list; now for another attempt to tap "copy". (+3-6 taps) 💡: -Automate instant "copy" on share: //Share to app->clip copies to list AND to clipboard-> Clip ready to paste (+0 Taps) - Enlarge the "copy" activation space to be a full square 🔳 (+1 Tap) - Add "copy" 🔘 when clip is open (+2 Taps)

Can someone give me an example of how this app is useful? Give me a situation in which you think most people would've wished they had this? I'm struggling on the usefulness of this app? I downloaded it in case someone can articulate what service it provides and how you utilized it. One-star till I get a response then I'll open the app, test it out and rate. I'm kinda thinking it's a redirecting clipboard for files that typically get saved and locked up within the app used to create it.

Loves this app it has not worked for a while now though. Not sure what's causing it, and I have googled the issue and found nothing. I am rooted, on an older phone on android 7.0, and I know I used to use it on other phones for forever and had no problems. Now when I choose the save a copy option in the share or. Open with prompt it throws up a window that save copy crashed. I've tried older versions, and they aren't working either. Such a useful and unique app.... I hope I can get some help on this

Sounds interesting. But the modus operandi is completely unclear. I have installed it. I have wazzap, which is subject to hide media. What should I do to have it all in the specified folder? And how to specify it? Temporarily giving 1 star, because nowadays developers answer only on these reviews ;-)
