I have been using Task Nearby for several months now, and it seems to work very well. I use it when I am traveling to remind me when I am NEAR a place, but may or may not go there (for example, rest stops, restaurants, or gas stations). Many GPS's don't seem to have this. The best feature is absolutely the text-to-speech ability, because you can rarely look at the screen when you are driving. I also like the easy-to-adjust radii. One question - would it be possible to offer the option to disable the dialogue box that is tripped when you approach the geo-fence? The voice is really all I need. Thanks!

Straight up doesn't work. The only reason I remembered the thing I set a reminder for when I got home was because the "download successful" notification was still there in my notification bar. Garbage app.
