Description

Approach Control: Remastered is a professional-grade air traffic control simulation designed by real-world air traffic controllers.

Work a live approach radar, issue headings, altitudes, and speed assignments, and maintain safe aircraft separation using authentic ATC procedures. The radar updates with a true 3-second sweep, replicating how real controllers scan, think, and manage traffic in real time.

Control arrivals into multiple unique approach sectors, each with its own runway layout, localizer geometry, and entry points. Traffic complexity increases as you progress, demanding sharper decision-making, better spacing, and faster reactions.

This is a game — but one built with realism at its core. No arcade shortcuts, no simplified rules. Just clean radar presentation, realistic aircraft behavior, and genuine air traffic control challenges.

Fun game like most other games by this dev. My only gripe with it, is that it should really have something to prevent planes from automatically going into approach. Like an ILS button so the plane knows to expect approach but listen to the controller as long as that button isn't activated. It currently happens far too often that it accidentally catches approach and starts doing things like changing speed, altitude, and heading, causing separation and sharp turn issues when it wasn't intended.

It's NOT free, aside from 2 boring example levels. The separation bubbles are 1.5 nm? That doesn't make sense and it's not realistic.
