Maybe you can't find your favorite app on your FireTV. With this app "Apps2Fire" (Apps to Fire) you can upload every Android application from your mobile phone or tablet to your Fire TV or Fire TV stick.
You only have to enable the developer options on your fire tv and enter the fire tv ip address in Apps2Fire.
Sideloading uses the Fire TV's developer options as described in the help section of Apps2Fire. Developer options are sometimes unreliable so be patient with it. If you are facing problems switch off and on again the developer options on the Fire TV and frequently restart Fire TV.

I used to love this app, but for the last month or so ive not been able to connect, even with the proper IP, to my FTV2. I can access the box via adb commands on the pc as well as gain root access, but the app itself says I need to enable adb debugging when It's obviously already enabled, then try again. Which always fails. Hope there's a fix for this soon! Normally I'd give it a 5 star.

I installed some app like vlc and others with no problem, but none of them work when I try to use them. Any suggestions OK, I changed it to 4. Some apps have different apps for fire stick like the vlc player So most likely, some apps are not compatible with the fire stick

If you're having problems connecting to your Fire TV, make sure you're connected to the same Wi-Fi frequency. Even under the same SSID, devices may be connected to different 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequencies which can cause connection problems. My favored way to sideload apps to my Fire TV devices. Much easier to search, download and manage apks on my phone than downloading on the Fire TV.

Doesn't work, Amazon destroyed this app by locking their OS. Thanks to Amazon I have no way to side load apps. FU amazon and bezos

Really sad about this app. It used to work so well - I could even install over ADB to other Android devices too, and it was very reliable and would connect first time. Now it doesn't even work for older Fire sticks - perhaps it works on newer ones, but unfortunately it is no longer fit for purpose for me :(
