Comments on AR Art Projector: Da Vinci Eye for Android

★★★★★ This app changed the way I draw portraits. I absolutely love and recommend this app to every artist out there. You must have this app if you have a high-end phone. The use of AR is a game changer!

★★★★★ If you have an artist background it'll be easier to get the hang of than some people let on. It's a little finicky in function but super straight forward. Just buy a phone mount for your drawing desk and fool with the app. Works perfect, exactly as intended. 10/10

★★★★★ Customer service was prompt and allowed me to get back to my art while I was still in the creative minset.

★★☆☆☆ I've encountered the focus hunting issues others have reported. S24 ultra. When using the anchor, the camera keeps "breathing" in and out. I have tried multiple anchors, different styles, makes no difference. Ask yourself whether it's worth it to pay $20 for an ad free static tracing app, because that's what this is until they fix it. If the devs read this review, why not borrow an S24 ultra and try to fix the issue? I have a friend w/S24U who consistently replicates the problem too.

★★☆☆☆ The app seemed to work fine, but I kept getting MOTION SICKNESS every time I tried to use it. Wish I could get a refund because I literally only tried using it for one project and had to stop after three attempts, each less than 5 mins. It's a huge bummer because I was really excited about using the app to trace outlines, so I can do what I love and just paint.

★★☆☆☆ Just doesn't live up to the promose. In AR mode the picture doesn't move with you fingers eg I push it right, and it goes down and to the left. It seems to only lock on to the larger zoomed camera lens in AR mode to, so it's massively zoomed in. In normal mode I can kind of get it to work but feel there are better and easier ways to trace an image.
