Arabic Quran - Islamic App

Al Quran Majeed is a calm, focused way to read the Holy Quran — the complete text in clear Uthmani Arabic, with nothing between you and the words.

The entire Quran is stored inside the app. Reading, searching and bookmarking all work with no internet connection, wherever you are.

THE COMPLETE QURAN

- All 114 Surahs and 6,236 verses
- Authentic Uthmani text from the Tanzil Project
- Read by Surah or by Juz (Parah) — all 30
- Beautiful Quranic typeface designed for the Arabic script
- Makki and Madani marked on every Surah
- Sajdah verses clearly indicated

TWO WAYS TO READ

- Scrolling mode — one verse at a time, easy to follow
- Page mode — a full Mushaf page as it appears in print, verse numbers set in traditional medallions

Choose whichever feels closer to the copy you know.

44 TRANSLATIONS

Understand the meaning in your own language. Includes Urdu, English, Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Indonesian, Bengali, Hindi, Malay, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Chinese, Pashto, Sindhi, Tamil, Malayalam, Swahili, Hausa, Somali, Uzbek, Kurdish, Uyghur and more.

Translations stay switched off until you pick one, so the app opens straight to Arabic if that is all you want. Choose your language, and only that translation is added.

MADE FOR COMFORTABLE READING

- Light, Sepia and Dark themes
- Adjustable Arabic text size, from small to very large
- Adjustable line spacing and screen brightness
- Choice of Arabic typefaces, plus Nastaleeq for Urdu translation
- Keep screen on while reading
- Continues from exactly where you stopped

- Add your own note to any bookmark
- Search your saved verses
- Sort by date or by Surah order

SEARCH THE WHOLE QURAN

Search all 6,236 verses in Arabic or in your translation. Harakat are ignored, so plain letters are enough to find what you are looking for. Filter by Surah or by Juz.

BUILD A DAILY HABIT

- Set a daily reading goal
- Keep a reading streak going
- Weekly chart and monthly calendar of your reading
- Milestones as you progress

Every bit of this stays on your phone.

PRIVACY

No account. No sign-up. Your reading, bookmarks, notes and progress never leave your device.

The app is free and supported by ads, which is the only reason it connects to the internet. There are no ads on the reading screen itself, and a full screen ad never interrupts you mid-Surah.

TEXT SOURCE

The Quran text is the Uthmani text of the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net), used verbatim under a Creative Commons licence, along with its Surah, Juz, page and Sajdah data.

May Allah accept it from us and from you.
