★★★★★ Ar drone flight I like this app better. The fact that I can record my video I have the McGuire r/c mod I can't record with the drone Freight 2.0. Now don't get me wrong that is a great app also if you don't have the r/c McGuire mod it just doesn't video record when you have the r/c McGuire mod ostensibly all.

★★★★★ Great controls but no camera recording As I just said the controls are far better than the official parrot AR. DroneFreeFlight2.3.3 app which does not work with my AR Drone as it's not a 2.0 drone but in fact the original. So this app works great for flight control easy manipulation of flight, but it will not record what the camera sees which is a bit of a problem because I like to post stuff on YouTube if anybody knows how to fix this please comment back

★★☆☆☆ Truly awful and ridiculous payment / licensing. Would be great, but has the most dreadful payment / licensing arrangement I've ever come across. Every single time I come to try and use this app (which I paid for by buying AR Combat - something I have less than no interest it), I get told it's not licensed. I then have to open the awful AR Combat and wait for it to connect to Google's servers and then restart. Worse still whilst using the app I constantly get pestered to pay yet more money as "AR Drone Flight is not free". Really, I suppose that's why I actually paid for it. It's just not worth it, stick with AR Free flight that you get from Parrot.

★★☆☆☆ Apparently bricked my drone trying to install flight recorder I just downloaded the app and tried to connect to my drone with the new flight recorder. I got an error message about getting money from my Google wallet, and now I can't access my drone at all... it won't assign a Wi-Fi IP address. Help!!!!! Noted added: I commend the software writer for responsive customer support, after the above post, but I reiterate my concern that the software is not safe for an ar. Drone with a flight recorder, perhaps not safe for any ar.drone. It should probably not be downloaded at all by any owners of ar. Drone v.2, as it does not work with this version, and the process to do in-app update obviously is buggy, so buggy the drone appears to be damaged. To help others overcome this bug, learn to use the reset button under the battery, before you use this software. I really don't think many people should be buying the free version, as most people have v2 drones, and the program has such bugs. The paid version may be a good value, thus far it appears good, but you have to get there first. A piece of software that gives the purchaser a heart attack before he can use it, does not seem to be such a wise purchase.
