Arizona Game and Fish’s E-Tagging App syncs your licenses and tags to the app and allows hunters to electronically tag their harvest in the field. Digital licenses and tags display key hunter information—including physical description, residency, address, and legal hunt details—and can be shown to law enforcement for verification in the field. By opting into the paperless E-Tag option, hunters can store all licenses and tags in the app, complete the electronic tagging process, enter harvest transportation details, and submit their harvest survey information. This modernized system improves customer convenience, supports effective law enforcement, and provides higher-quality harvest data to biologists and commissioners to ensure responsible wildlife management.

It's promising. I enjoy having most of my licenses and Quick links through the app. However, they advertise no need for paper in the field, which is false. You still need to have some form of writing utensil and paper to attach the # to harvested big game animal. Which to me is a waste of time considering the regular paper tag is already filled out and is official and not just someone's bloody handwriting on whatever you can find in your hunting pack to write on and hope it stays attached.

Arizona is so far behind so many other states all around us that it's unbelievable. We hunt and fish Arkansas, Nevada, and Oregon, and all have super easy apps and ways to check licenses, tags, and everything. Even though it's not common, we occasionally have to have a California fishing license because of ocean border fishing in Oregon, and even California is better. Arizona really needs to get on board and stop dropping the ball. It's really sad.

App freezes while scrolling threshold limits. Plus it shows tags on the e tag page from years past. Surveys completed and they're still there. At what point do they go away. I've contacted game and fish about it. Uninstall/installed app. I THINK GAME AND FISH HAVE NO URGENCY TO RESOLVE ISSUES WITH THE APP AS LONG AS THE MONEY KEEPS FLOWING. Also, I really don't like seeing the red and yellow flag on my home screen. There should be a USA flag. Or put language preference back in the menu setting.
