These mobs may also spawn already wearing a piece of armor. Armor is equipped in four special slots inside a player's inventory. It can be equipped in slots for helmets, chest plates, leggings, and boots. Lastly, there is elytra, a pair of wings that fits in the chest-slot, and allows a player to glide.
