As Received: Photo Check Sheet

Photograph it when you receive it. Photograph the same spots when you hand it back.
As Received is a check-sheet camera for things you get and later return: a rental car, an apartment, borrowed gear, a laptop going in for repair. You shoot numbered spots in order, and the two sets line up spot by spot.

WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT
Pick what you received and start at spot 1. A rental car runs front, sides, rear, wheels, interior, odometer, fuel. A home goes area by area, and you choose which areas to include.
After each shot you can tag a scratch, stain, dent or break and mark the place on the photo with a circle, an arrow or a short note. Before you finish, the sheet lists the spots you haven't shot. Skipped spots stay on the record as "not photographed" and can be filled in later.

WHEN YOU HAND IT BACK
Start the hand-back set and the photo you took at the start shows faintly over the camera. Line up the frame and shoot from the same spot. The overlay can be switched off.

ONLY WHAT CHANGED
Matching spots are paired. Check them with an overlay slider or side by side. Spots you newly mark at hand-back are counted as changes.

SEND A COMPARISON OR A PDF
A comparison image puts one spot's two photos in a single picture. The PDF report holds every spot with its photos, times, condition tags and notes, plus a SHA-256 file fingerprint for each photo. You can also export all the originals as one ZIP.

HAND-BACK DATE
Set the date and you get a reminder that morning, with an optional second one 30 days earlier for something like a lease ending. The Record tab keeps the record due back soonest at the top, with the one next thing to do.

WHAT IT COVERS
Two sets, received and handed back: rental car, move-in and move-out, repair drop-off, moving day, a stay, renovation work, car service, cleaning, rented gear. One set: deliveries and secondhand trades. There is also a free-form record with no fixed order. A rental car or a delivery can be captured as one short guided video, and the steps can be read aloud while you shoot.

PRICE
The first 3 records include everything. After that, shooting, comparing on screen, marking and notes keep working; PDF reports, comparison images and the ZIP export for later records need Lifetime access, a one-time purchase.
