Comments on AsciiCam for Android

★★★★☆ Alexandru Lipan · May 20, 2022

The app is straightforward, transforming the camera field of view in a 112×64 array of "letter pixels" that is less of an ASCII and more of lettered pixel art. Keeps well with the 60 FPS refresh rate, and is efficient. Unfortunately, trying to use the front camera crashes the app.

★★★★★ Mr “Dave” Longhurst · May 25, 2024

One of the best ascii image apps. My advice would be to use a better interface for selecting photos.

★★★★★ Harald Clark · Jul 10, 2021

Simple and fun, plenty of customizable settings, no bloat or ads.

★★☆☆☆ Clau · Jan 25, 2020

The camera works beautifully, but you can't select other images to be turned into ASCII

★☆☆☆☆ Ray Foy · Jul 12, 2020

I actually liked the app. Then I discovered you can't customize the colors; now I hate it

★★☆☆☆ Dr. Deth Defuhying · Jun 28, 2019

It's good, but it ruined the picture when I saved it to my gallery
