The app is straightforward, transforming the camera field of view in a 112×64 array of "letter pixels" that is less of an ASCII and more of lettered pixel art. Keeps well with the 60 FPS refresh rate, and is efficient. Unfortunately, trying to use the front camera crashes the app.
