ASE Test Prep by MotiveU

Other ASE apps are question banks. MotiveU teaches you to diagnose.

Every case starts with a real customer complaint on a repair order. You choose which test to run, read the scan data and measurements that come back, and call the root cause. Pick the wrong test and it costs you time, the same way it would in the bay. When you finish, you see your path next to a master tech's.

DIAGNOSE REAL CASES
• 20 diagnostic cases, from Easy to God Mode
• Cooling, electrical, brakes, engine performance, charging, network faults and more
• Evidence sheets with scan data, voltage readings and road-test logs
• Cases with two faults that hide each other, just like the ones that come back

PASS THE ASE
• Practice tests for all eight automotive areas: Engine Repair (A1), Automatic Transmission (A2), Manual Drive Train (A3), Suspension and Steering (A4), Brakes (A5), Electrical (A6), Heating and A/C (A7) and Engine Performance (A8)
• Technician A / Technician B questions in the real exam format, with an explanation for every answer
• Exam readiness for each area against a 70% target, so you know what to study next
• Study guides, short daily lessons and focus areas built from the questions you miss
• Literacy test: read repair orders, TSBs and shop documents

COMPETE
• Challenge a coworker, climb the ranked tiers and join shop contests
