Description by Dementia Australia Limited(from Google Play)
Ask Annie is an engaging education platform offering self-paced microlearning.
Annie guides learners through scenarios based on real-life experiences to strengthen their skills in delivering support to all clients, not only people living with dementia. The modules are short and focused on providing practical ways to address challenging situations.
Learners are given the flexibility to decide what and when to learn based on their time and needs, as well as the knowledge gaps identified through interactive quizzes. The search function helps to navigate through the application and find topics that learners want to explore. Ask Annie has been designed with the user in mind making learning a very engaging and intuitive experience.
Written in plain language and supported by the video content, this platform is suitable for staff from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The short modules have been written according to Dementia Australia’s own problem-solving model. The CAUSEd approach encourages staff to shift focus and understand how people living with dementia may be communicating their unmet needs through behaviors.

This app is a game changer. I found the skills really helpful in my work, and the lessons were fun and easy to complete. The animations are based on real life scenarios and demonstrate the skills in action. I love that I can refer to this anytime I need it.
