Welcome to Astro Wars. Created by developers that brought you Galaxy Invader and Scramble
Beats N Bobs are proud releasing to release one of the most eagerly anticipated retro tabletop arcade vintage game, Astro Wars.
Its 1980, and THE MUST HAVE . Arguably, the most advanced including four sub-levels, flickering coloured fluorescent display plus joystick only seen in arcades. You could finally have your very own arcade machine at home.
PLAY: Turn Power ON (menu will disappear, intro music plays). Select Level (Graphics demonstrate difficulty level). Press Start (Gameplay begins after intro music). Kill enemies while dodging enemy fire from of alien attack phases. If surviving three attack waves, more points if can dock rocket-ship. Press fire, left & right. Thrusts use Fire for landing rocket ship. Level is complete when reached 9999 points or lost all lives. Restart by turning off & on.
We painstakingly analyzed every detail this tabletop has and achieved 99% compared to the original. We modified controls as it simply does not work as well with phone/tablet so extra large arrow keys included but left joystick in for purists (but recommend larger arrow keys). Those sound effects are here. Four phases including docking sequence. Astro Wars is compared with two real tabletop machines as these also vary with slight details. Enjoy this blast from past. Fun game but my shooting machine doesn't move much only 2 spaces across and when I get to a certain stage my shooting machine disappeared....

Please fix the controls. I cannot move my ship more than 2 spaces to the right. **Note** The ship is very unresponsive at the moment and does not move to the right more than 2 spaces. It's hard to send a screenshot of that, unfortunately.
