Auto Call Recorder - Tencia

When the call ends, it's already recorded. Calls in apps like WhatsApp and KakaoTalk too.

Tencia is a call recorder that records phone and app calls on its own, with no button to press, and saves them on your phone. It records calls, not chat messages. Recording is free, with no ads and no account.

AI turns the calls you pick into text (Tencia Plus). The audio is deleted right after and isn't used to train AI.

Tencia Helper, a free companion app from the same developer, records the call audio. Get it from our website (see below).

■ App calls, recorded like phone calls
• Calls in about 20 apps, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, KakaoTalk, Zalo, Teams, Discord, Instagram and BAND
• Most other apps that show a call notification are recorded too, saved under that app's name
• Starts when a call starts and stops when it ends. Nothing to tap
• Long calls are recorded to the end. Play or share them as one file
• Phone and app calls in one list. Phone calls show if you made or received them

■ From the first word, and safe when something goes wrong
• For phone calls, Tencia gets ready while it rings, so it catches the first "hello". The ringing before you answer is trimmed
• If something goes wrong while recording, every playable part is saved, not deleted

■ Tells you when the sound isn't captured
• If the phone blocks the sound, you get a notification during the call
• Silent recordings are marked, so you know right away
• A 4-second test recording shows if recording works on your phone, no call needed

■ Bring your old recordings
• Import existing recordings (from CUBE ACR and other apps): pick the folder and they're copied into your list, with names, notes, stars and bookmarks. The originals stay put
• New phone? Restore your list from copies in your backup folder, Google Drive or a NAS

■ Listen, find and tidy up
• Shake the phone during a call to add a bookmark, then play from there
• Listen or add a note right from the notification after a call, or turn on the after-call card
• Search by name or date, filter by app, show starred only, share or delete several at once

■ Free backups
• Automatic copies to your backup folder, Google Drive or a NAS (WebDAV)
• Auto-delete removes only recordings with a verified copy (off by default). Starred ones stay

■ Turn the calls you pick into text (Tencia Plus)
• Phone and app calls, with a summary and to-dos
• Free every month: 30 minutes and 30 summaries. Calls under a minute count as one minute
• 30 days from your first transcription: 300 minutes and 100 summaries free, no payment details, no auto-charge
• Plus: 300 minutes and 200 summaries a month, yearly or monthly. We won't raise your price

■ Your calls stay on your phone
• Recordings stay only on your phone. Only calls you pick go to our server, and the audio is deleted right after. No ad or analytics SDK
• Works with any carrier, and recordings don't delete themselves. Auto-delete runs only if you turn it on
• Lock your list with a PIN or your phone lock. Once locked, it's also hidden from screenshots and recent apps

■ Call recording needs the free companion app, Tencia Helper
During a call, Android blocks Tencia's microphone, so Tencia Helper records the call audio and hands it to Tencia on the same phone. Tencia Helper isn't on Google Play. Get it from "Get Tencia Helper" in Tencia or at relay.regenntwrks.com/helper, which shows each install step. It has no internet permission and doesn't read phone numbers, contacts or messages.

■ Before you record
Call recording laws differ by country, and some require the other person's consent. Check the law where you live and get any consent you need.
Depending on your phone, the calling app and earphone or Bluetooth use, the other person's voice may be quiet or missing.

• Plus: if a call can’t be transcribed, your minutes aren’t used.
