works wonders flawless on my CM10.1 GT-N7100. but i have a feature request, if you don't mind :) i use this app mainly with my bluetooth car stereo, and it's a bit dumb. it needs 3 to 7 seconds to connect A2DP service after it sees my phone. but Auto Play Google Music starts as soon as the initial connection is established, so i end up with music playing through my phone speaker. that'd be great to implement some kind of configurable "on-connect" time-out. then i'd just set it to 7 seconds and everything would be perfect. thanks a lot in advance :)

Almost perfect Does exactly what I was looking for; I get into my car and it starts playing! No more hassle of going into my pocket, unlocking my phone, scrolling to the Google Play Music app, and hitting play. Thanks, you are a genius. -1 star for almost perfect. Sometimes it doesn't work seamlessly. I've been playing around with it and it looks like the Google Play Music app/process actually has to be up and running in the background for it to work. Unfortunately Android will automatically shut down the process when it hasn't been in use for a period of time. Other than that it's fine.

Only seems to work if music app is 'running' Like another reviewer reported, this app only seems to work if the music app has recently been running (i.e a few seconds ago). I certainly can't make it work from boot, or if the google music app has not been running for some time. [Samsung S3, 4.3, headphones only]. I see the dev is fairly receptive to bug reports, so hoping for a fix, for what would be a great app.
