Great Navigation tool At first use it seems complicated but go into settings, get familiar, and soon you will be wanting for the app. Price is relatively steep but detailed info makes up for this. Recommended

My wife and I use it whenever we travel around Europe. I believe that it is one of the most accurate navigation and above all, friendly service with many individual settings. The option to download each country separately is definitely recommended. Overall ok.

It is the only map software for Android which doesn't support "mock GPS" (i.e. external GPS source or receiver). Google Maps and tons of other software work flawlessly with mock GPS.

I was Automata user for few years once I gave Google Maps a try. Well, I was totally surprised how much better the navigation works, very nice integration with your devices (you look for sth on one device, the destination is already on the other), much better info about POIs with photos, people review, opening hours, most busy hours etc., really nice integration with Spotify, not mentioning traffic predictions, here Automata is light years behind Google Maps (because there are many more people using it). Eventually I uninstalled Automata and switched to Google Maps completely. I never thought this day will come, but well ...

Many eons ago Automata was THE app on winCE devices. Now on android I can't get past "instalacja mapy" (Polish only) at the start. Gave 2 stars instead of one just for the past glory. Please bring it back. EDIT: App keeps returning to notification area indefinitely, tapping notification or trying to close it does not do anything. Dropped to 1 star, sorry. Also, google play won't let me edit my existing review. Typical state of IT in 2021.
