This app is an automatic file sync and backup tool. It lets you automatically synchronize files and folders with MEGA (mega.nz) cloud storage and with your other devices. New files in your cloud account are automatically downloaded onto your device. New files in your device are uploaded. If you delete a file on one side, it will be deleted on the other side. It works across multiple devices (your phone and your tablet). If their folders are synced with the same cloud account, they will be kept in sync with each other.
This is how MEGA works on computers but not on Android. Two-way automatic synchronization should be an essential function of the official app. For whatever reason, it is not the case. MegaSync is here to fill the gap.
All file transfers and communications between user devices and cloud storage servers are securely encrypted and do not go through our servers. No outsiders will be able to decrypt, see or modify any file contents.

Worked perfectly straight away, immediately paid to upgrade, as I wanted to back up additional folders from my phone to MEGA cloud. Have had experience of this app some years ago, when I bought the sync/backup app for Google Drive. This app covers effectively the areas that MEGA cloud is weak with, and does it very well, the settings cover everything you will want to do, just set it up, and leave it alone to work!

Always fail when I want to sync large files "download failed permanently -5" I don't suggest to pay for this app. Let's make this clear: On PC browser, on Android mega app, or android browser I can download thoose files. Only auto sync for meg CAN'T download thoose files !!

App made by a kid with a huge ego, no critics allowed when pointing. No qa. Error sync if foler exists. Huge battery drain. Unstable. Buggy bs. /Storage/emulated/0 failed sync. No more than 10k files can be monitored and synced. Very limited auto sync db. . Cannot handle 10 million files.drain. Creates duplicate folders self multiplied exponentially if from different devices. No multi select local folders into one remote folder. Does not ignore special characters and stops upload.

I've used this developer's apps for Drive Sync/AutoSync, One Sync, and now MegaSync, and I've even paid for the Pro versions of the apps, which I rarely pay for a pro version of a free app. I love Drive Sync and One Sync, but this MegaSync app doesn't work as good as the others. It often says "upload failed," and all often top it cancels its syncs without explanation. At first, I thought it was my Internet connection, but I don't have this problem with Drive Sync or One Sync, so it can't be that.
