Description
AvareX is designed for pilots and contains Geo-referenced FAA Aeronautical Charts, IFR (High and Low), VFR (Sectional and TAC), Flyway, helicopter, instrument approach plates, and Chart Supplements for the United States and its territories only. For charts outside of the Unites States AvareX relies on "OSM" or Open Street Maps. AvareX supports ADS-B In data from any Wi-FI GDL-90 device (e.g. StratuX, late model StratuS, iLevil, etc.) and will display traffic, weather, and other ADS-B received data.
AvareX is completely free to use without cost, paid subscription, ads, or sale of your personal information. AvareX is a pending replacement for the original Avare application. AvareX is community supported and funded through user donations.
AvareX is currently in the Beta version active development stage. Pilots are testing AvareX, using it in flight, providing feedback, and submitting feature requests.

I have used the original Avare app since Y2016. This app, Aveiro, replaces it - with more features, plus the ability to run on multiple platforms including iOS and Windows PC. that comes with a learning curve though, and changing from the old to the new has sometimes been challenging. Having made the change, I won't go back! I highly recommend this powerful freeware for general aviation.

I fly a minstrel motor glider, and I use Aveiro as my backup on my phone... not having a glass panel in the glider... it's nice to have a glass panel in my pocket when the sky gets hazy in unfamiliar territory in BFE and I need to get home, Aveiro is great to have. Thank you! R/ Gary

Newest update causes it to open to world view, and I have to zoom in to my local area every time
