Baby Nap Track: Sleep Tracker

Baby Nap Track is a baby sleep tracker that tells you when to put your baby down for the next nap.

Tap once when your baby falls asleep and once when they wake. Baby Nap Track works out the next nap window from your baby's age, how long they've been awake and their own naps this week. Once three days are logged, the nap times come mostly from your baby's own sleep.

The nap schedule moves with the day. A short nap brings the next one sooner. After a missed nap the app plans the rest of the day again, and late in the afternoon it suggests an earlier bedtime instead of another nap.

Set your baby's usual wake-up, bedtime and the day sleep you're aiming for. The app keeps count of the day's naps and tells you how much sleep is still needed before bed. A contact nap, a nap in the car or a nap in the buggy or stroller all count.

The chair method at bedtime

Baby Nap Track can take you through the chair method of sleep training. You sit by the cot until your baby falls asleep, and every three nights you sit a bit closer to the door. You say goodnight and leave the room on night 13.

At bedtime the app shows where to sit tonight and times how long your baby takes to fall asleep. One tap counts each time you get up to pat or shush. In the morning a chart has a bar for every night of the plan. After a hard night you can stay where you are one more night.

What you get

The next nap time, large on the screen, with the window to put your baby down.

A nap timer that counts every second, and a note on the lock screen while your baby sleeps.

A reminder before each nap window and before bedtime.

The day on one line, with the naps so far and the naps still to come, each with its time.

A sleep log for every day, and a week of day sleep against your aim.

Night wakings logged with one tap.

One link to share the sleep log with a partner, a granny, a nanny or a childminder. Everyone sees the same day and can log a nap.

A dark screen from bedtime, so the 3am check is gentle on tired eyes.

From newborn to toddler

Wake windows by age are built in, from a newborn's five short naps to a toddler's one long nap. As your baby drops a nap, the schedule follows what you log. If your baby came early, add the due date and the nap times go by it.

Baby Nap Track needs no account and shows no ads. Your baby's sleep log stays on your phone unless you share it.
