With our new feature, you can add potential names to the app without your partner knowing and receive honest feedback on them. Simply enter the name, choose a gender, and add a meaning. Your partner will see the name within their next 10 swipes, and they can swipe left or right to indicate whether they like it or not.
Research shows that partners often don't give honest feedback when suggesting baby names to avoid hurting each other's feelings. Our new feature eliminates this issue, and you can now get genuine feedback from your partner on the names you like.

I'm not naming my child "Yorkshire terrier", "VAT", "Placid", or "Burning Furnace"! The names are ridiculous and the duplicates are unmanageable. My husband and I have matched on the same name with the same spelling 5 times!

App used to be great, now it just repeats names, and you only get to see a few. One of our choices was "blast furnace" and another was "floor". Also, the naming behind the subscription tiers is so desperate and gross

It keeps giving the same names over and over. I've swiped on the sames 3-5 times in my first 5 minutes using it. I also don't like that I have to look up the meaning of a name I want to add to send to my parter. Not worth $8/month.
