Bachelors' Meal Manager

Bachelors' Meal Manager is the easiest way to run a shared mess, hostel or bachelor kitchen. Stop arguing over who ate how many meals and who paid for what — the app tracks every meal, every bazar (grocery) expense and every payment your manager collects, then works out each person's fair share automatically. Everyone in the house sees the same numbers, updated live.

🍽 TWO WAYS TO PRICE MEALS
Run it your way. In Calculated mode, the cost per meal is worked out automatically at month-end — no spreadsheets, no maths. Or switch to Fixed Meal Rate, where the manager sets a fixed price per meal and every meal is billed at that rate. Pick the mode that suits your house.

📊 SPREADSHEET MEAL GRID
Log Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for every member on a fast, freeze-pane grid — names and meal types stay pinned while you scroll across all 31 days. Half-meals supported.

🧾 BAZAR & MANAGER MONEY
Record every grocery run with items and amount, and every deposit members hand to the manager. The app keeps a running balance for each person — who's in credit and who owes.

💰 A FAIR BALANCE FOR EVERYONE
Each member gets a clear balance: what they deposited minus their meal cost, utility share and special meals. See the whole house's balance at a glance.

🔗 INVITE WITH ONE TAP
Create a house, get a unique House ID, and share a join link — friends tap it and they're in. No more copy-pasting IDs.

⭐ SPECIAL MEALS
Feast day? Add special (high-value) meals at their own per-date rate and split the cost only among the people who actually ate them.

⚡ UTILITY / COMMON COSTS
Split shared bills like gas, water or internet evenly across members, kept separate from the per-meal cost.

📈 ANALYSIS & CHARTS
Colourful pie and bar charts break down spending and meals, plus a cost-per-meal trend across months — all colourblind-friendly.

📄 EXPORT PDF REPORTS
Generate a clean, shareable monthly report — summary, analysis, meal, bazar and manager sections — and pick exactly what to include.

🗂 MONTH HISTORY, EDITS & TRASH
Browse any past month read-only, with a full edit history and a trash bin: see who changed what and when, filter by member, and recover deleted entries.

🔐 ROLES & PERMISSIONS
The manager grants fine-grained permissions — Meal Entry, Meal Edit, Bazar Entry, Manage People — and members can request the access they need. Running without a manager? Enable a no-manager house where everyone can manage.

🗓 SHARED MONTH & CARRY-FORWARD
The house runs on one shared month; the manager switches it and can carry members' balances forward into the new month.
