The backdrop feature regularly breaks and fails to sync with Google photos, and I have no idea how to fix it and then sometimes it starts working again for no reason

Latest update removed or broke the only thing this is good for! I don't need you to "curate" photos... I'm a photographer, and I can curate my own artistic and family photos. I won't let you steal my eye time.
