Backgammon Buddy combines a backgammon game with a tutor that helps you understand your decisions. Play against the computer, compare possible moves, review completed games and turn mistakes into practice.
Choose how you want to learn
• Best-move hints: compare the engine’s suggested plays and alternatives.
• Move explanations: see estimated outcomes and concrete changes to the board, such as hits, anchors and exposed checkers.
• Game commentary: get concise feedback as a local game develops.
• Try first: try a full play yourself before viewing hints.
• Cube advice: explore doubling and take/pass decisions in cube-enabled matches.
