Review edited, as it seems like I didn't realize that some of my issues had been fixed in a recent update. Sorry for leaving a less-than-favorable review, honestly, this app doesn't deserve a negative review, especially since I can now find my files in my file system (shared folder). I do definitely think this app could benefit from having a second button (maybe smaller button), that immediately opens up the keyboard, and you type your desired filename, to mark it as more important than others.

Perfect! It's a simple, lightweight app that does exactly what it claims. I can record audio with my screen locked. No other app that I've found can do this without interruption, and the clips are easily accessible in my phone.

Once background recording is activated you can no longer control the phones volume, ringer will always be set to full volume. App appears to stop you from turning any volume down so had to uninstall, no issues afterward. Also, could not actually listen to my recordings, could see them, but they do not play back like the video shows. Recommended for those looking to have a bad day.
