Bagh Chal & Sholo Guti

Two classic board games from South Asia, in one app.

BAGH CHAL — TIGERS vs GOATS
The legendary Nepali hunt. Four tigers prowl a 25-point board. Twenty
goats arrive one at a time, unarmed, and win only by surrounding the
tigers until not one of them can move. Play either side: hunt as the
tigers, or out-think them as the goats.

SHOLO GUTI — SIXTEEN BEADS
The Bengali classic. Sixteen beads each on a 37-point board. Slide,
leap over your opponent to capture, and chain jumps together to clear
several beads in a single turn.

Bagh Chal (बाघचाल) and Sholo Guti (ষোল গুটি / सोलह गोटी) are traditional
games played for generations across Nepal, India and Bangladesh. Whether
you grew up with them or are meeting them for the first time, there is a
one-minute tutorial waiting for you.
