Comments on Band-in-a-Box for Android

★☆☆☆☆ James Peter Imossi · Feb 25, 2026

It simply doesn't work. You can load songs and demos, and they work, but the moment you enter your own chords, the app will play one random chord throughout your song and completely disregard all your chords. Other clues that there are bugs are the pop-up box that opens when you decide to exit, where it asks for confirmation, but the buttons to confirm or cancel are missing. I hope they complete this app soon, because I could really do with it, but as it currently stands its useless.

★★☆☆☆ Donald Mangia · Jul 30, 2026

Is this a demo app? It only plays 64 bars of my songs. I installed the app on my phone and my tablet, but it behaved the same way on both.

★☆☆☆☆ Prys Lewis · Mar 19, 2026

I am getting a message that this app is crashing because it has a bug, and to reinstall it once the developers have fixed tge bug?

★☆☆☆☆ Aaron Pelan · Jan 26, 2026

App is bugged and won't open. It starts to, then crashes. The one time that it did stay open, it is really clunky to use. It is definitely set up more for a tablet than a phone, and it is usable, but I wouldn't recommend it. I was looking for something cheaper than ireel Pro, but I might just have to go that route anyway.
