Barbara: A Guide Through Loss

"Barbara is the only grief guide that personalizes every step with your loved one's name and adapts its guidance based on your unique situation."

When someone you love dies, the world doesn't stop — but it can feel like it should. There are phone calls to make, decisions to face, and paperwork that can't wait. And in the middle of all of it, you're grieving.

Barbara is here to help.

Barbara is a gentle, step-by-step companion for the days, weeks, and months after the death of a loved one. It doesn't rush you. It doesn't overwhelm you. It simply walks beside you — one question, one task, one breath at a time.

Three sections. At your own pace.

Barbara is organized into three sections that reflect how grief and responsibility actually unfold:

• Right Now — The most immediate things: notifying family, calling emergency services if needed, arranging care for children or pets, securing the home, and reaching out to an employer or place of worship.

• Within the Next Few Days — Choosing a funeral home, making burial or cremation decisions, writing an obituary, planning the service, and accessing financial resources.

• Over the Coming Weeks — The longer road: probate and estate matters, Social Security, Medicare, closing accounts, canceling subscriptions, protecting against identity theft, and addressing digital accounts.

Grief Support, always within reach.

A dedicated Grief Support button is always visible, wherever you are in Barbara. Tap it anytime to:

• Follow a guided breathing exercise
• Read words of comfort others have found helpful
• Connect with a crisis line or grief helpline
• Find a grief counselor near you
