Description

Scan and decode barcode symbols to verify encoded data, decode and reveal hidden ASCII control characters, GS1 application identifier FNC AI codes, decode TLV and Base64 encoded text, and view information about the encoding of the symbol. This app also parses encoded GS1 data to separate out each application identifier and element string. Reveals ASCII functions that cannot be printed or viewed on the screen including the FS, RS, GS, CR, LF and EOT functions commonly used for ISO/IEC 15434. Supports popular 1D and 2D symbols including Code 128, GS1-128, Code-39, ITF, QR-Code, Data Matrix, PDF417 and others. The primary purpose of this app is to verify encoded data in barcodes created with barcode fonts from www.idautomation.com and it may be used for other similar purposes also.

App worked perfectly for my purposes. Had a data matrix code that was damaged and no ability to manually input printed number in the system. Took another tag that was intact and scanned it with this app. This app identified it as a data matrix code and told me what number the code represented. Turns out the codes on these tags include a prefix not printed on the numerical tag number. Now knowing it's type and prefix I was able to generate a new scalable code on a website. Saved the work day.

Autofocus is horrible. It has a hard time reading basic barcodes. It is not able to read and decode more advanced barcodes.

Doesn't work! It's a great idea, but it won't scan even the clearest of barcodes. I think it means QR codes but if that's the case then you need to change the app name

Does not work for data matrix codes. Tried another app and that one reads the code instantly and correctly. This app doesn't even read the same data matrix. Useless for my needs.
