Basket - Bookmark Organizing and Read Later app

★★★★★ FINALLY! A proper Pocket replacement! I really dig the link adding process. Categories and comments are a godsend. Really looking forward to seeing what Basket has to offer in the future. Just please don't take Pocket's route and go from a bookmarking service to a freaking content delivery service.

★★★★★ Is a nice app, a good pocket alternative. Doesn't seem to have an iOS all though. A couple of things missing from it though. It lacks full text search which is kind of the main drawback of pocket anyway. Also, it would be neat if there​ was a way to archive articles to reduce clutter. The other things are great though, the article view, the ability to organise, the look of the app, etc.

★★☆☆☆ Been using this since 2015 and it has downgraded itself so much that I feel why I have joined it first. Neither it lets you delete your account despite EU privacy policy nor anyone at basket has guts to reply....with bookmarks it's horrible, horrendous and horrifying to use this as pocket replacement. 😤🤯🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

★★☆☆☆ Where are tags? Add them but no way to search them. Also doesn't save my added tags. Therefore tags are pointless. Also super irritating that there is a link page between some bookmarks and the page itself i.e. epicurious, Food52.

★★☆☆☆ The design of the app is nice, but there are too many issues with this app that make it unusable. 1) Why does it take forever for an article to download? Why does it take forever for an article to pop up when selecting that article? It's like it's re-downloading it or something. 2) There needs to more space between paragraph breaks; I read a lot of long form articles, and I can barely tell when there is a new paragraph, which makes the reading experience unpleasant. 3) When we're reading an article, the top bar and the status bar should disappear as we scroll; both Pocket and Instapaper do this. 4) We should have an option to hide the image previews in the list view. 5) Why is the "Search category" bar purple? It doesn't match with any of the themes. 6) I think it would be a good idea to show what we categorized the article as in the list view; Pocket does this nicely. I'd like to use this app, but in its current state, I just cannot use it.
