A great game overall. While simple, this space strategy game shines above and beyond all the ad filled, gacha/ loot box/ crate bs we mobile gamers have to deal with in these dark days. You start with your first ship-your flagship, and have to keep it alive through multiple maps as you fight enemies and collect precious scrap to buy even more precious equipment and weapons and point defense, and more ships to stay alive. There are many different styles of play, and I could go on but 500 limit.

Still a great game in 2023 even if no updates since 2018. Wish the developers would make another similar game because I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

The E.M.P. Disabling Shields, Flight Between Sectors, AND Repair Is The Most Unfair Thing About This Game. It Needs To Lose One Of These Mechanics Because I Have Had Way Too Many Runs End Because I Get E.M.P.'ed Then Have To Wait, Then A Hostile Ship Appears And The E.M.P. Sometimes Will Trigger Again Leaving Me Stranded in That Section, Forcing Me To Fight Something I Can't Kill or Run From, Guaranteeing My Death. I'm Completely Avoiding Storms Because Of This Issue, Even Restarting Sometimes.

Had a lot of potential but the experience grind to unlock new ships is dogs ht, worse than every gacha I've seen. According to steam reviews it's been like that for years but instead of addressing it as a problem the devs nerfed the exp gains even further. To make it worse, sometimes the game docks you exp for every turn you spend and sometimes will outright decide you spent too much time in an area and swarm you with enemies.

The new alien ships are only cosmetic changes. The drones are still human drones. Weapon selection still human weapons. Story mission still human missions. That said I love the BSE Trademark. I would like to see a custom ship builder, let us make whatever ships we want, and perhaps unlock higher class ships for recruiting into our fleet. 3 BSE trademarks running muck in infinite mode, that would be outstanding. New weapons wouldn't go amiss either.
