★★★★★ This app took me back to my childhood. The story was originally the subject of one of five animated TV specials that first aired on NBC and later, HBO. I had a copy of the original book when I was a little girl. Years later, that book was reprinted and Mike Bernstein added his special touch of faith by mentioning a nativity set, a church service and a nativity play and the true meaning of Christmas. Mike even replaced the original ending with the Golden Rule! Great app.

★★★★★ Bernstein Bear lover for 25 years I have everything Bernstein Bear including this original book and movie. When I saw the app I just had to add it to my collection, and it didn't disappoint. It is such a wonderful Christmas story that the family can enjoy. Just an F.Y.I. ... It is one of the first books, so it has the 'classic' Bernstein Bear illustrated look vs. today's more recognized bear family appearance.

★★☆☆☆ Boring My kid loves BB books and shows. However, he gets about 10 pages into this book and loses interest. The artwork also looks different from most other books and the facial expressions do not seem to reflect the tone of the text.
