A beacon is a self-repeating, low-power, Bluetooth advertisement of small data (31 bytes or less), that can reach devices 50 feet or more (or only immediately close if desired). Some of them can be detected without needing an app; see http://physical-web.org for details.

Can't add iBeacon When I try to add UUID, it keep on saying it must be 32-hex but the input box only allow 28 characters and I couldn't paste all the UUID

I am using Lenovo k6 power with Bluetooth version 4.1. I am not able to create any beacon hotspot. It is showing that the virtual hotspot has been created but other Bluetooth devices can't recognise it neither able to receive any signal from hotspot. Don't know why it is working absolutely fine with other reviewers but not with mine.
