Description

Beam HPC app calculates the moment, shear, deflection and rotation diagrams for a beam with various types of loading. Loading types include forces, moments and distributed loads. The load location and magnitude can be changed at any time. There are three types of supports (i.e. boundary conditions) including pinned, fixed and vertical roller. Each beam can be split into sub-beam segments. Each beam segment can have a different moment of inertia (I) and stiffness (E). The user can click and drag all items to quickly change and compare results. This program is designed for educational uses only. It should not be used for commercial purposes. There is no warranty or guarantee the results are accurate, and the user accepts all responsibility for values calculated.

Splendid. So easy to just click, drag the supports. Need option to save the case. Also, "clear" n "reactions" buttons are too close by. "Clear" should prompt a warning before clearing.

★★★★★ arif korkmaz · Feb 17, 2021

I don't understand those who give low rate to this app. This is a free no ads and very useful for students. Calculates deflection, rotation, moment and shear. Thanks for this work and efforts very much.

★★★★★ Manuwily Wilson · Mar 13, 2019

I haven't met any free app for beam deflection calculations like this one if you get the EI in GPA ok

★★★★★ You Tube · Aug 10, 2024

Very nice if you could just add the reaction calculations it would be too good

★★★★★ Saleem Md · Feb 9, 2020

Thank you so much for the application but might expect the deflection for frames too. Or another app for frames similarly.

★★☆☆☆ Alberto Torres · Dec 6, 2021

Unable to perform beyond example. -± The example runs well.--- After the example the are unable to enter new information related to: supports and so on. --- The problem isn't about translation, it's about operation and performance of this app. --- It does need to be fixed.

★★☆☆☆ Ibraaheem Loonat · Jul 7, 2023

Values have not been accurate with my calculations

★☆☆☆☆ Ajise Jhyde · Oct 27, 2022

App is not easy to use. I thought I can actually do continuous beams on it.
