Beat 4x4- Drum Machine

Beat 4x4 — Pocket Beat Machine

Beat 4x4 turns your phone into an MPC-style beatmaking workstation, built for producers who want to sketch, chop, and finish beats anywhere — no laptop required.

🎛️ Sample & Chop
Import audio from your device or record straight from the mic. Slice samples manually or with auto-chop (equal division or transient detection), then drop chops onto pads instantly. Non-destructive editing means your trims, fades, gain, and reverse never touch the original file.

🥁 Finger Drumming
64 velocity-sensitive pads across 4 banks, built for real multitouch — play chords, rolls, and fills with natural feel. Note repeat for tempo-synced rolls, 16 Levels mode for expressive velocity or pitch play, and per-pad play modes (One-Shot / Gate / Loop).

🎹 Synths, Not Just Samples
Turn any pad into a synth voice — sine, saw, square, triangle, or 808 — with its own pitch envelope. Layer synth bass and keys right alongside your chopped samples.

🎼 Sequence & Arrange
Record live or program in the step sequencer and piano roll. Quantize with adjustable grid/triplet/strength, add swing, and use note probability, ratchets, and per-note velocity for human, glitchy, or tight patterns. Chain sequences into full songs with repeats and per-section tempo changes.

🎚️ Mix It Down
A proper mixer with per-pad volume, pan, and sends. Master reverb and tempo-synced delay (that actually tracks your BPM). Sidechain "pump" ducking for that classic genre bounce. Vinyl/tape lo-fi master bus (wow & flutter, crackle, warmth) for instant character.

🎧 Filter, Stretch, Resample
Per-pad multimode filter (LP/HP) with resonance. Time-stretch samples to fit your tempo without changing pitch. Bounce any sequence or full song back into the sample library to build on top of it.

📤 Export Anywhere
Render full mixes or individual stems as WAV (16/24-bit, 44.1/48kHz) for finishing in a DAW, sharing, or archiving. Share exports directly from the app.

⚡ Built for Phones
A tight, low-latency Rust audio engine (sub-10ms on Android) means pads feel responsive, not laggy. Everything is offline — no account, no internet required, no subscription.

Full undo/redo across pad assignments, sequencing, and song arrangement, so you can experiment freely.

Whether you're sketching a beat on the bus or finishing a track in your bedroom, Beat 4x4 gives you sampling, sequencing, mixing, and export in one focused, fast tool — no DAW, no clutter.
