If you're looking for a Beat Star alternative. This is the game. It's got great songs, they have a great added difficulty in the normal, hard and extreme songs. There are no teeth grinding 100 card boxes for a deluxe song (hope there never is) and it just plays well overall. Give this app a chance, and you just might ditch Beat Star do to its lack of good free songs. There maybe less songs in Beat Drum but the songs they do have makes it worth playing, charts are also amazingly done. Best alternative!

Problem is... There are so many extra sounds and beats in every song!! Makes it a trashy experience, why mess up a perfectly good song by adding sounds that weren't there to begin with? I don't want to miss a thing by Aerosmith does NOT have "clapping" sounds in it!!!! Awful, would love a rock version of this kind of game WITHOUT THE EXTRA BEATS AND SOUNDS, just the sounds beats only. I'm going back to beat star.

I really wanted to give this game 5 stars as I was enjoying the game play very much. But here's the thing adverts can be a pain and I can accept this as I can't afford to pay what is in my opinion over the top monthly fee to go premium to stop adds. But then it gets to the point you have to watch adds to play a song, or you can't play at all. Not good and certainly not fun.
