Bedside: Check on a Loved One

Bedside is for the nights after someone you love comes home from the hospital, or any time an older parent or relative needs you close while they stay in their own room.

Leave one phone on their nightstand. Keep the other with you. You hear and see their room, they can call you with one tap, and you can talk back without getting up.

How it works
1. Install Bedside on both phones and join the same Wi-Fi (not a guest network that isolates devices).
2. On their phone: This Room. Plug it in and leave it on the nightstand.
3. On yours: I Listen. Tap their room and type the 6-digit code shown on their phone.

What it does
• I need you: one tap on their phone rings yours
• Live audio from their room, and video if the camera is allowed
• Hold to talk: answer without walking down the hall. Your mic stays off until you hold the button.
• Sound alerts on your phone
• Android and iPhone work together, so your family can use the phones it already has

Private by design
Everything stays on your home Wi-Fi. There is no account and no cloud, and their audio and video are never uploaded. If you leave the house, the link ends.

Free sessions, and no ads you did not ask for
Being the room is always free and never limited. Listening starts with a set number of free sessions. If you run out, you can watch a short video to earn more, unlock Bedside Household once to remove the limit, or keep listening anyway. There are no banner ads, no ads between screens, and no ads while you are monitoring.

What it does not do
• It does not work from another network
• It does not record
• It is not a medical device or a medical alert system. Phones sleep, Wi-Fi drops, and apps get closed. For a medical emergency, use a dedicated medical alert device and call emergency services.

Stays on your Wi-Fi. No account.
