Before & After Camera allows you to: • track you fitness goals • track your pregnancy progress • take a photo based on another photo • document child growing up • .. and many more
Every time you take a photo, the application will allow you to see the previous one in the camera preview window, so you don't have to remember how exactly the previous one looked like. This will allow you to better compare them later as you can make them look very similar.
Applications can work with photos taken by the app or any photos from your gallery. Photos taken with the app are saved in a way, that they can be easily edited or shared with other applications or backed up by Google Photos.
We respect your privacy. We never upload photos from the app to our servers. Everything stays on the phone unless you decide to use Google Photos to back them up, but this will happen only if you explicitly set Google Photos to back this directory up.
Note that this is NOT a photo editor. There is a lot of other applications that allow you to combine few photos together including ones, that are taken by this app.

Does exactly what I was looking for, no ads. Works particularly well if you just want to output pictures and make a video with other software. My one suggestion is to allow volume up to take a picture, as it works in the official Android camera app. Remote trigger devices rely on this convention, and it would make the app compatible with those devices. Hands-free shutter control would make this perfect!

Just what I needed. The only things I don't like: I cannot turn off the sound my camera pictures are 16:9 so if I could set it in the app too I could match my pics more easily

It is a well-written camera app that works absolutely like a dream for comparing old landscape photos with the captured image, but why is there an obnoxiously loud, ear-ripping camera shutter sound, and why is there no option to turn it off? I literally jumped after taking the first photo. I understand the privacy concerns of a camera app (The author of the app makes this clear by explicitly stating to "be aware of your surroundings") but having to blast a loud sound every time is senseless.

Great app! The only app I found that does exactly what I needed, to show a transparency of a before picture when taking the after picture, so they match well. The only downside is that you can't change lenses if your device has multiple lenses, so you're stuck with only using 1x. Besides, that the app is great.
