Not able to use boost, very frustrating because I love this game, but would enjoy it more if I can use my boost

I stopped playing due to sickness, and I had millon and a half gold coins plus more than 1500 rare gems, and now I go back they steal my coins and gems a bunch of robbers stay away in this game

The game all of a sudden won't let me use my boost or access any of the additional game features. I earned all those boost, and now it won't let me use them.
