Better Hotmail is a faster and easier way to check your Hotmail on your Android phone or tablet. This app uses a web browser that is optimized for the Hotmail mobile website. It has faster browsing speed and better data upload/download times CPU/memory use.
The Better Hotmail Android App by Better Android Apps allows you to access hotmail account via the mobile website that has been designed for Hotmail and Windows Live users. Please not that this app is NOT the official Hotmail app and does not have push notifications, or any notifications for that fact of the matter. It is simply a vessel to bring you to the mobile version of Hotmail in order to facilitate an easier transition rather than having you go through the mobile browser each and every single time in order to access your Hotmail account.
When you open the app you will be asked to login the first time. After logging in you will be brought to the mobile webpage of the Hotmail mobile site. Please also note you do not actually leave the app when doing this you still are within the Better Hotmail for Android app itself. Once the mobile site has loaded you will be able to read, compose, save, and perform any other activities the same as you would if you were accessing the mobile site within your browser.
