Loving my bevel so far. Have gotten some pretty good scans, will get better as I figure out the perfect conditions and motions for bevel. Can I offer some suggestions? Would love to have some of the features of the bevelpix website model viewer. For example the ability to view wire frame, normals and high/low poly integrated into the model viewer in the app. Also an option to reset the view or center the mass of the scanned object into view on the model viewer would be really nice. Edit: (Double tapping resets the view, but some objects are nowhere to be seen and you have to move the screen around until it comes into view.) I'm eagerly waiting for full 360 scans! Keep up the great work! looking forward to what you guys add to the app:)

For anyone coming here in antipitation of buying a Bevel3D forget it: Bevel arrived today and I have to say I am very, very disappointed. Got it calibrated okay (had to shine a flashlight on the black and white card). I backed this project because I was looking for a scanner to make 360 degree scans of small objects. No can do. The user is limited to one 12 second scan up or down one plane and that's it. I didn't buy it to make 3D selfies with but if it excelled at that I'd be happy. Sadly, even this task it cannot accomplish. One usually ends up with floating bits all over the place, or if you're lucky enough to get a solid face it looks like something beaten up by the Hulk and put back together again by Dr Frankenstein. The processing most times locked somewhere after 75% although it did seem to finish regardless. Matter and Form state that there are no Returns, Exchanges or Refunds. So now I am left with a novelty item to store away in a box of treasures for my great-grandchildren to laugh over one day. This whole experience has turned me off Kickstarter for good and I will never be back.

Doesn't work. Even after calibrating it when you scan something it keeps saying the phone needs to be restarted. Complete fail. Restarting does not help.
