Editing my review again. I purchased the lifetime subscription back in July 2024. It's now January 1, 2026. I'm still using the app and enjoying it. It has allowed me to save for an emergency fund and keep my monthly budget. I like the simplicity of the app. I don't need to fancy features. I even did an experiment by re-signing up to the old app that I used before and tried it for a month. I ended up finally deciding that I like Beyond Budget way better.

Stay away if you use several currencies! The app DOES NOT convert the values between your accounts and/or budgets when dealing with more than one currency. I bought the full version of the app and really regret it !

Very difficult to get started. I included my first deposit with my previous balance. It took FOREVER to find where to go to edit this amount and then add the deposit. I kept landing on the edit of the name instead of the dates or amount edits. Also, as soon as you finish editing or adding/deleting accounts you get an offer for a lifetime subscription before even starting to figure out how to set up a budget. You get something like 1 day and 9 hours to decide to take/pass on the offer.

The Original review was from August 2024. I and every other customer have been waiting for the Beyond Budget team to release a web app (desktop). They have been promising a web app, as well as an iOS app, for FOUR YEARS (since 2022). Still nothing. I'm moving on. Liquid Budget has both web & mobile apps and is more robust.

No area for cost value such as rent 1200 then another line for allocated let's say 800 of 1200 with a progress bar funded vs non vs partial. Only input of allocated. So you would need to check a separate place (not on app) to view debt details which defeats purpose of app. The funds remaining should pop out instead of small text area of Budget Health Check. You would need to add expense as a way to give upcoming bill value even, so it only turns blue with no value unless target date same day
