Bible – Holy Scripture

The Bible you'll want to open every day.

Many of us want to read the Bible more, but get stuck on hard passages or lose the habit after a few days. This app is made for exactly that: a short explanation when a verse is hard, gentle encouragement to keep going, and a beautiful way to see how far you have come.

UNDERSTAND, NOT JUST READ
Tap a verse for a short explanation in plain words: what was happening then, what it means, and what it can mean for your life today. Like a patient friend at your side who knows the Bible well. A few explanations a day are free.

SEE YOUR JOURNEY GROW
Every book you finish paints its land on a watercolor map of the Bible lands and gives you a card of one of its people, with a verse to remember: Noah, Ruth, David, Mary Magdalene, Paul and 28 more. A quiet joy that makes you look forward to the next book.

A FEW MINUTES A DAY
Start with the Gospels in 30 days. Today's reading waits on your home screen, your streak and small milestones celebrate every step, and a daily verse gently reminds you to come back.

LISTEN WHEN YOU CAN'T READ
Have any chapter read aloud on the way to work, while you cook or before you sleep.

KEEP WHAT SPEAKS TO YOU
Bookmark and highlight verses, keep a list of prayers and mark the ones that were answered, send a verse as a painted card to someone who needs it, and keep a verse of the day on your home screen.

PEACEFUL BY DESIGN
No account needed, and it works without an internet connection. Nothing you read leaves your phone unless you ask for an explanation. Warm, easy-to-read type, and large print when you need it.

FOR SUPPORTERS
Supporters keep this Bible free for everyone. As a thank-you: more explanations every day, all reading plans, more translations to read side by side, notes, cross-references, highlight colours, a sleep timer, card frames, the Evening and Parchment maps, the journeys of Abraham, Moses and Paul on your map, and the Streak Shield that forgives one missed day a week. Try it free for three days and cancel anytime in Google Play.
