It's a good game, but there's too many ads, and you can't just buy some of the weapons you have to watch a handful of ads to either unlock them or to try them. (I'm not sure because I refuse to watch a bunch of ads) the game used to be more fun, but I downloaded an ad blocker (adguard *not sponsored*) literally just because it kept giving me a bunch of ads, and I really want to play this game for nostalgia.

I've played Big Hunter on and off a few times since it's release, but the recent major updates have brought me back with renewed interest. I'm also fairly certain that grinding to unlock items is now feasible, which it wasn't several years ago. The reason why my review is four stars is the fact that some items are locked behind the Hunter and Super Chests, which I feel like should be optional features, rather than necessities to unlock some of the game's strongest gear.

Concept and some gameplay is very fun. However, some levels are too hard to enjoy later in the game, and it isn't actually a game about aiming as there are only a few spots you can hit most of the animals. Progression is also very slow meaning it becomes very grindy to get anything done. Weapons are unreasonably expensive, and it just encourages you to pay real money. Very good if you are looking for a game to grind, bad if you are looking for casual enjoyment.

HUGE WASTE OF (my)TIME. I would have loved to rate it a 5 star but my only complaint is: SPENDING MY CHIPS ON ITEMS, WEAPONS, & CLOTHES (AGAIN!!) JUST TO HAVE THEM TAKEN AWAY AGIAN!! *time and skills wasted!!
