Big Launcher: Elderly Launcher

Your phone should feel familiar every time you pick it up.

Big Launcher offers a spacious Android home screen with large icons and clear labels. Designed with older adults in mind, it keeps everyday apps and important contacts easy to find, without filling the screen with things you rarely use.

Keep family and friends on your home screen, place your favorite apps within reach and add a clock or other useful widgets. You can arrange everything across multiple pages and keep your everyday shortcuts in the dock. When you need another app, use search or browse the alphabetical app list.

Make the layout comfortable for you. Adjust the number of rows and columns, choose a wallpaper and switch between light and dark appearance. Once your home screen is set up, lock the layout to help prevent accidental moves. You can also protect Settings with a PIN—useful when setting up a phone for yourself or a family member.

An optional one-time Premium upgrade gives you more ways to make the phone your own. Personalize icon shapes, sizes and labels, choose different page transitions and assign shortcuts to gestures. Premium also removes ads from Big Launcher, removes the free item limit on each page and lets you back up your home layout, dock and appearance settings.

If you would like to try the page transition effects before upgrading, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock them for 24 hours, when an ad is available. This temporary access covers transition effects only. You can continue using the standard Slide transition without watching an ad.

To get started, choose Big Launcher as your default Home app and add the apps and contacts you want to keep nearby. Contact access is needed only if you choose to add contact shortcuts.
