biiCADo Touch Pro for mobiles

★★★★★ At last - an Android 2D cad for professional draftsmen. BiiCADo is Autocad in a matchbox. It is an astonishing achievement to have shrunk the behemoth down to 15.6mb – and to have done so in a manner that simplifies the interface without leaving out anything important. Layers, x-lines and dimension styles are all here alongside a comprehensive set of drafting and editing tools. (You have to dig though to find them all). Touch-screen wrinkles include a 'magnifier' that shows what is going on under your finger-tip, and a screen that automatically clears away all extraneous stuff while you are editing so that you have maximum 'real estate' to play with. You can design jewellery or a steam locomotive with this program – any limitations you encounter will have more to do with your micro-screen (and eye-sight!) than with the software itself. Be warned though – shrinking a cad program does not (unfortunately) shrink the learning curve. All such programs demand a considerable investment of time and effort. But BiiCADo's industry-standard protocols mean that the skills you acquire will be transferable to other cad programs and are therefore worth having. To sum up; the only truly professional 2D drafting App in Android I know of.

★★☆☆☆ It is crap If you want to change any settings within the app good luck. When menu settings are opened such as the grid menu or layer menu they zoom in really close and get fuzzy. Because of this you are unable to make changes.

★★☆☆☆ Crashes On Tablet! My HTC Desire 526 phone loved the app. This would be great on a Tablet!.... (Or, so I thought....). I installed it on a Dell Venue 8 7000. It attempts to open, then Crashes! 😞 🙏 This is far too good an app to be a Phone Toy!!!
