For a couple of years I used both this app and bird app, but now I only use this one because it has more features. Ones I use most often are (1) sorting taxonomy by last name first, eg, Duck, Mottled as it is the fastest lookup. (2) displays yearly abundance for every species. (3) multiple taxonomies. I use birds, mammals and plants most often (4) pinpoints exact location for every entry, not just gps for the whole list. (5) uploads immediately to the cloud. (6) easy access to photos and audio.

This app is awesome. The interface is easy to use and sightings upload to the client or bird are a breeze. I use bird, but I can be lazy about the bird protocol of hourly lists. I often carry a phone, camera binoculars, recording equipment and a scope!. It is hard with all that gear to fumble glasses and type in bird out in the field. With this mobile app you can increase the font size, so you don't need glasses.
